A Lesson Learned

By Unknown 9:56 PM Diary

These past few days, I have been eating less  oily and have been trying to eat “clean” food as prescribed by my pedia after suffering from gastroenteritisa.k.a stomach flu. I tell you guys, gastroenteritis was such a pain in the ass!!. You can say that has double meaning hehe. Although it may make you feel bad, it’s an illness that has nothing to do really with flu. In gastroenteritis, your stomach and intestines are irritated and inflamed. The cause is typically a viral or bacterial infection. Symptoms usually appear within 12 to 48 hours after exposure to a gastroenteritis-causing virus.

My 2-day struggle from gastro was really exhausting! It weren’t just because of the stomach pain and diarrhea but most of all, it was the EXTREME HEADACHE(!!!)  that made it more distressing. I may sound much of an overacting patient, but it’s true. I SWEAR. There was a time, it was midnight, i felt the need of going to the bathroom so I got out off the bed quickly, which had added-on to the headache i was experiencing. While going to the bathroom, my eyesight turned into complete black. Maybe it was that “extreme” because i haven’t visited my eye doctor yet. I am supposed to have glasses 3 years ago but I withdrew from my last eye check-up that’s why.. A while later, I found myself catching for my breath. I have never experienced something like that before. lt was like catching a horse!! Okay waley. Back to what i am narrating. I immediately called my mama and ask for help thank God I have a suuuperr caring mama (and an obedient papa). She then asked papa to go to the drugstore to buy something to hydrate me. That was around 3 a.m.

Just so you know, before the gastro thing attacked me, I decided to have ”diet” HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA. And then bam, i got “diet” from the gastroenteritis. I mean i loose weight after the gastro whack. You can’t say that it was effortless because it really was not. It was anexcruciating one! When you have gastro, you are only allowed to eat soft food, plus you may loose your appetite! And there it goes…  a lesson learned for me to watch the food i eat
So the  next time you felt you’re craving for some betamax and isaw, you must think before you eat, ’cause gastro has got no mercy.
